Power Sonic Ltd maintain contract award for UK utilities company
Power Sonic Ltd are delighted to confirm the continued custom of one of the Yorkshire regions largest utilities companies. This work is scheduled to be completed during July and August 2009.
Director Mark Allison is pleased with the continued support " I believe this further underlines Power Sonic's determination to compete for larger UK contract work. Clients are continually searching for a fair price but with guaranteed working standards. Despite the current economic challenges I think we are ideally pleased to deliver this service to current and prospective new customers UK wide"
This is running in line with our exceptionally high customer retention rate. Mark stated this is due to our combined pricing and service structure. " It is a clear fact that competition within the industry is fierce. In the past we had maybe 5-6 competitors for any particular contract. This figure is now in the region of 20-30, due to varying factors such as clients searching that more deeply for a better deal and PAT testing engineers whom formally worked for larger organisations now seeking to go it alone after recent downsizing of former employers. We have to maintain a full and proper service that our clients have every right to expect. But at the same time we have to push hard on our pricing to compete at all levels. It is clear that per item prices have been falling in the past 12-6 months and to some extent the past 2 years. But we would never compromise the service we believe is required to maintain a safe and effective testing procedure. Whilst it is also very important to continue to invest in new technology test equipment and increasing the value of report packs issued to customers. We have found our electronic report documentation has been extremely well received. It gives clients the flexibility to send reports nationwide at the click of a mouse. This is particularly useful for field based/construction clients"
We hope to bring you more news in the coming days and weeks. " I want to open up further lines of communication with our current customers and potential new ones, it's vital we run with new technology in all areas of business. The new twitter account and Skype functions demonstrate this. Despite the challenges we all face in business and life at the moment I am pleased with progress made so far in 2009 and hope that this continues going forward."
