I.E.E. Guidance Note No. 3 2nd Edition Part 2
We make sure your property complies with the above at the very minimum and if it doesn't we give detailed reasons and reports. We don't just issue the certificate Pass or Fail we provide a full detailed written engineers report with information relating to expected repair costs (if any) and condition of your installation.
The test and inspections would consist of:
Characteristics of supply at the origin of the installation.
Earthing arrangements.
Visual inspection.
Full continuity test.
Ring Circuit Continuity
Insulation resistance test.
Polarity check.
Earth fault loop impedance test.
Prospective short circuit currents.
Operation of residual current devices.
Plus any other checks relevant to your installation.
We provide a full Report pack after your testing and include a company certificate to display your compliance and safe electrical practises.
